This is a Royal London Yacht Club event for Members and open to any sailing yacht under 60’. It is a silver trophy event with an opportunity to race for The Patrick Egan Salver and The Dr. Bown Salver.

After last years very successful “Britannia Challenge” we hope to increase the entry list and this year it is to be a “White Sail” event i.e. no spinnakers or cruising chutes.

After racing there is always a very jolly Curry Lunch at the Club House to which sailors and non-sailors are cordially invited, please book direct with the House Manager on 01983 293153. Dress code, clean yachting gear.

May I ask you to note there is a change of date and start line to the published programme for the 2nd Race in this Series. Race 2 now starts from Portsmouth and is on the 7th June (not the 14th).

The link to the Notice of Race, Entry and Handicap Forms are to the right. Please return your fully completed entry to the Secretary as soon as possible together with your IRC certificate if relevant and entry fee.

As VHF Ch. 37 is used for course instructions please ensure the Race Committee have your onboard mobile telephone number.

If you know of any Member with a suitable sailing yacht who has not received an e-mail/letter, it is because the Secretariat does not have e-mail addresses or details of their yacht, but please do let the Secretary know.
