The Sigma 38 Class is celebrating 21 years on 21st June and the Royal London YC has been invited to run a regatta to celebrate the success of the class and the David Thomas’ design over 21 years. Like it’s smaller sister the Sigma 33, the Sigma 38 has been a bench mark One Design yacht that many well known yachtsmen have sailed ‘boat for boat’ over the years. The Sigma 38 proved the one-design racing concept applied to larger yachts combined with the ability to cruise in comfort.

The Royal London Yacht Club is offering its prestigeous Queen Victoria Trophy for the one day celebration regatta which will comprise three short races in the central Solent and a prizegiving at the club afterwards.
