On Thursday 12th Feb 2009 a splendid and most informative time was had by
members of various clubs at an event at the RLYC hosted and presented by
David Rogers.
At 10.30 am we were given coffee and biscuits in the Drawing Room and at
precisely 11.00am we made our way to the London Room for a cookery
demonstration. This was great fun and most informative. Members and guests
were shown how to prepare a selection of canapés followed by Gilthead
Bream with ‘two pepper sauce’ finished off by warm Walnut
Pithivier and ‘condensed milk toffee ice cream’.
The demonstration was followed by an excellent luncheon of the above
selected menu. I thoroughly enjoyed the event and hope that other members
and guests did too-well done David Rogers.
