The Club continues to be so busy plenty of lunches, suppers, dinners and fun and always those intrepid visiting yachtsmen who are now making Cowes a must for stopping off especially on Lunch Special Days as above.

Redecoration of the Club House accommodation is currently in hand, all bedrooms being decorated and soft furnishings and some items of furniture being replaced where the budget allows – a great improvement.

A delicious Haggis Supper was prepared by the Caterers with the Commodore generously supplying the whisky. Both the Valentine’s Dinner and Limerick Supper again saw the dining areas filled to capacity plus a few squeezed in. Mr Keith Topley resplendent with wig presided over the many (and various) Limericks written by Members with Mrs Julia Dams being the winner and this years Queen of the Limerick.

The February Special Coffee Morning was totally oversubscribed with David Rogers (the Club caterer) providing a terrific cookery demonstration to an audience of 70 – followed by a superb lunch and much socialising.

Please remember Coffee Mornings are now a regular feature every 2nd Thursday of the month excluding January and August.
