We are most grateful to all Members and non members who provided lots for the Youth Fund Charity Auction that took place after the Laying Up Dinner on the 17th October, and to all the Members who bid so generously enabling us to raise £4300 for the RLYC Youth Funding Initiative

As a result in the coming year we will be able to continue to support Olympic and World hopefuls, increase our support for introducing local youngsters to sailing and we hope provide for disabled Island children to experience crewing aboard the Lord Nelson or Tenacious.

We are also grateful to the Commodore for once again being an excellent and amusing auctioneer and to the Secretary for demonstrating the bids so ably (see photographs on the home page).
