As you may know the club is running the second Meter and Classic Keelboat Regatta between 20th and 24th July 2009 with some 65 entries in around six classes. This regatta is rapidly becoming the club’s flagship event, something that is very welcome development to replace the Christchurch Ledge Regatta which was our previous flagship regatta that was abandoned some year ago. However, we are finding ourselves short of perpetual trophies for all the classic classes entered in The Metre and Classic Keelboat Regatta and are appealing to members for any quality trophies they may have hidden away in the attic or may wish to donate in memory of a loved one.
