The
Club launch will operate from the Club steps or the Trinity Landing from the
weekends (and Bank holidays) from the Fitting Out Dinner to the Laying
Up Dinner during the times printed below; and every day, on a separate
timetable, during Cowes Week.

Members with needs outside
these hours are recommended to use the Cowes Harbour Water Taxi Services listed
below. Should a Member
wish to use our own launch, early discussion with the Secretary is necessary to
identify timings and payment.

launch service should call on

The launch will remain in the outer harbour and not be available for
trips upriver prior to the start of the Solent Classes (Saturday 1200 – 1300,
Sundays and Bank Holidays 1100 – 1200) and when they finish (approx 2½ to 3
hours later). This is to take crews
to, and collect them from, their boats.
On RLYC Regatta days the Race Committee has priority use of the
launch.
The launch is maintained in ‘ready use’ order with
full tanks and is equipped with essential safety equipment. The
launch has a permanent alongside berth on the Club pontoon and is available at
all states of the tide.
