Cowes Keelboat Solent Series #2

The second shoreline start and the last of the RLYC's three weekends of racing run on behalf of the Cowes Combined Clubs Association. One of the Daring fleet will be hoping to secure their place at the top of the leader board for the RLYC Claud Cayley Cup. Claud Cayley was commodore of the Club from 1921-1926, and his cup has now been awarded over a century of racing in Cowes.

The Darings and other dayboat entrants may also be eligible for the David Christie Cup, a discretionary award decided at the end of the season. This cup was given to the club by Diana McNeill in honour of her late husband and another past commodore, David Christie.

Racing on this weekend will be run from the RLYC race box using the club's fixed start line, with flags operated from the flagstaff on the parade.
