RLYC GUERNSEY RALLY
We already have several boats signed up and berths reserved from Thursday 10 to Monday 14 August within the Victoria Marina Basin, St Peter Port. It is expected boats will arrive on Thursday and Friday. There is a good mix of sailing and motor boats this year.
On Thursday evening there will be the customary informal drinks party for those that are already there. Then moving on to Friday a Cocktail Party at 1800 hosted by the Royal Channel Islands Yacht Club and after dinner at da nello almost next door. http://www.danello.gg/index.php
On Saturday, a Cocktail Party and Dinner hosted by the Guernsey Yacht Club with spectacular views overlooking Castle Cornet and the Little Russel.
Due to popular demand Sunday is a full day in the rally itinerary and accordingly we are booking a table at The White House Hotel on the island of Herm. We will travel there by ferry or if members wish to take their own boats that is also possible. www.herm.com/where-to-stay/white-house-hotel/
This will again be a truly memorable cruise as last year and it would be as good as ever to get as many boats there as possible. As always we would very much like to hear from new members wishing to get in on the action.
If you prefer not to come by boat please feel free to book a flight, ferry and accommodation. The more the merrier.
